It's not like y'all ended negatively or anything. S***, by the sound of it, it doesn't even seem like y'all's connection ended. Like I said, good place to be in. Unfortunate how quickly things changed up on you, but I think this might be good for you.
You said don't know what you'll do after the program ends or where you'll be. Focus on the internship and try to find a solid job when the program ends. You wanna do this for yourself, but you also wanna give her something cool to come back to the states to you feel me? She's playing professionally in Finland sure, but that doesn't mean she's gonna completely throwaway the things she left back in the US.
