Universe of Star Wars is so big, they could do a plethora of different genre films and tv shows in the universe, even within the same timeline without them ever needing to actually “connect”, but they just dropping the ball.
They could easily make Game of Thrones-esq show simply basing it on Alderaan Royal families.
They could tap into the horror/zombie genre by making rakghouls canon. Place it on the planet Taris.
They could do a whole Godfather Star Wars themed movie or show, based on the underworld, focused on Nar Shadaa alone.
It’s practically endless. But they want everything to revolve around the Skywalkers, and constantly keep pumping out shows & movies focused on the Imperial Galactic era. I just don’t get it.

It's not negativity - there's just ideologically captured and genuinely inept people who also don't actually care about these franchises in charge. Till they all get packed large parts of any creative media are done out here lol
