The traditional definition of fascism is the merger of government and private industry and rooting the national economy in the war "industry". Defense contracts with tech companies, government sponsored union-busting, overthrowing democratically elected governments abroad, endless wars, the military industrial/prison industrial complexes, digital surveillance technology being produced by private corporations selling data to the government, are all fundamental aspects of fascism lol. Not to mention the US government "rescuing" 40,000 Nazi officers/"scientists" from the Nuremburg trials and planting them into both foreign governments and the US government itself.
