Aint no way niggas got a sales thread
A 100 page thread discussing an updated track list
And now another sales doesn’t equal quality thread
They probably won't because he's going to be making music for teenagers his entire career
I wonder why

I love the fact that yall saying kendrick doesn't wants hits when this is an obvious TikTok bait song

Nah you’re right. Conversations around sales should mainly be for pop rappers (Meg the stallion, Jack Harlow, Drake, Lizzo), not conscious rappers. People forget there are rappers who release music for purposes other than commercial success.
Kendrick album has like 5 tracks that are single bait man stop it lmao

With a giant Venn diagram that overlaps about the discussions in each 3
So really niggas just saying the same thing in 3 separate threads
i dont wanna be disrespectful because I love the album but silent hill kinda reminds me of

you can see the similarities
are the masses really looking to hear We Cry Together, Worldwide Steppers, and Crown though? compare it to what else is poppin rn, and it sure as hell doesn't fit that criteria. if you really listen to the album, there is a lot of replay value in terms of actually listening to what Kendrick is saying. people tend to dismiss things that they're not familiar with and aren't comfortable hearing, so obviously it's gonna tank.
but then again you see time and time again several artists who make the same bullshit over and over and people eat it up because they are familiar with it
Personally I'm eating my girl ass to We Cry Together but I can definitely understand why people aren't really interested in bumping that track at the gym, in the whip, or with the homies.
Definitely some tracks on here that have great replay value. For me I been going back to Father Time, Silent Hill, and United in Grief. I'm sure people love N95 and Die Hard and go back to it.

to pimp a butterfly had the same passion and had an impact on pop culture
idk man morale is just a s*** ass album!
It had a impact on the culture, but it's not a pop album
And Kendrick is not a pop artist. If he was, he would've went the Drake route and chase after trends to stay on top. But he doesn't.
Why do think there's memes about how you can't play Kendrick in the club?

Like this s*** kinda funny but at the same time its weird as f*** and a lame way to pass the time. Like none of us would ever talk about this s*** irl

rap is the new pop u aint check the receipts?
You see it right? It’s like king Kenny get a whole new set of rules
Bro, I'm not a stan and I see this bullshit. They need to stfu, s***'s getting corny af
Stop s***ting up the forum with meaningless threads about sales. No one cares except those losers in the sales thread itself.
if you sincerely believe that sales is correlated to quality you might need to go to a doctor to check for a mental disability.
all this discourse on sales and I’m surprised no one has mentioned the timing. we just had two mass shootings within the past 2 weeks. I think a lot of the public, myself included admittedly, just isn’t in the mood to vibe to a conscious album about trauma when the country is drowning in it right now
I definitely feel this. Like I ain't tryna hear Kendrick rap about him "getting revenge for his ancestors" by f***ing white women after a grocery store full of Black seniors got shot up
It had a impact on the culture, but it's not a pop album
