They probably won't because he's going to be making music for teenagers his entire career
Gen z not even f***ing with drake like that
Kendrick is for the critics, Drake is for the people
I say this with a heavy heart ma boi
if its interesting enough, I dont see why not tbh
you see how many people listened to the album first day? those are drake numbers
now that I heard the album more than 10 times I feel like its not as a complete package as his previous projects but I still really like it
i'm talking in terms of everyday people, not music nerds. the average person is not going to bump those 3 tracks that i listed, and if they heard it one time then they're out. albums and songs that take experimental risks are not going to have heavy replay value when it comes to commercial success. Kendrick can do it because he is an established artist, but people see it differently now that we've had time to digest the album...and it seems like the masses are not messin with it
And drake shows full off adults just like ktt full of morons
They probably won't because he's going to be making music for teenagers his entire career
I think that is going to change soon
And drake shows full off adults just like ktt full of morons
Drake shows full of 16 year old girls Drake brings on stage to kiss
sales mean it was well respected by the public ear
if an album drops and no one gives a f*** about it a week later that means it was ass...there I said it
for the most part some albums with low stream count are actually good but are mostly independent or not pop music. Kendrick is pop music (popular music) and dropped a passionate but very poorly delivered album.
This is bullshit man
If Kendrick really wanted high sales, he would've made an album that was more accessible to a mainstream audience. Instead, he went with his vision and still make something great. You guys gotta face the facts, although there were some songs I could being hits if he actually really promoted them. This album is definitely not for pop culture.
Drake shows full of 16 year old girls Drake brings on stage to kiss
you are steeping low ma boi
The irony is that all this talk of sales might just remind people to listen again and increase the numbers
Drake shows full of 16 year old girls Drake brings on stage to kiss
Good one
That was such a wild moment I dont even know what to say to that lmao
Drake shows full of 16 year old girls Drake brings on stage to kiss
Cant even say nun cause he really did that s***
The irony is that all this talk of sales might just remind people to listen again and increase the numbers
as much as I want and the album is great, I just can't ma boi
I just can't.
Drake shows full of 16 year old girls Drake brings on stage to kiss
Proved my post right
Truthfully, I think y'all f***in up tryna talk sales about a conscious hip-hop album as if that is truly important with those kinda albums. Were people d*** eating the charts for Lupe, Common, and Mos Def like this back then? If they were I really don't remember it lmao always thought it was about the raps and concepts with these kinda albums
Nah you’re right. Conversations around sales should mainly be for pop rappers (Meg the stallion, Jack Harlow, Drake, Lizzo), not conscious rappers. People forget there are rappers who release music for purposes other than commercial success.

thats why you had people in the streets chanting TPAB songs
and the production credits aren't that different, this album in his entirety is just not as good or concise
This is bullshit man

to pimp a butterfly had the same passion and had an impact on pop culture
idk man morale is just a s*** ass album!
It's crazy how you guys move the goalposts every week for certain artists.
You see it right? It’s like king Kenny get a whole new set of rules
Sales do mean something, that the album didn’t resonate with the general public like the last one. Nothing more, nothing less.
yea the reaction to kendrick's album and his sales on this site has turned off from coming on here as much. Niggas was just being ignorant as f*** about it on here and I wasn't trying to see that s***. This drake vs kendrick bullshit.. So lately I been like f*** Ktt lol
