when that s*** happened i never saw everyone in a theater with their mouths wide the f*** open i couldn't believe it
Bro when he f***ing pawned KG’s championship ring to get money for the bet in the first 15 minutes I was visually like “This guy is f***ing insane”
No wonder Tarantino almost casted him, big L for not doing so tho
fck this would be a dream pairing
julia fox ass could start wars
Bro even if someone shot me while I’m f***ing her my dead body would still go on

Lmfaoooo
Julia Fox fake dumper kinda gross I thought looked like a diaper
It’s not fake imo
Man I’m still thinking about the ending, don’t know I feel about it. Probably because I was so invested in Howie that I just wanted to see him win but that outcome was totally plausible.
Anyone else feel the same way? I just hope it wasn’t for shock value - they did say that he was going to die at the end in all 160 drafts that they wrote but I guess a rewatch will be the determining factor.

i was excited for him to win and settle the debt with arnold and you could tell arnold really did want him to win. but if he were to come away after that he would end up in the same damb place all over again that's just how that s*** goes. degenerate gambler and habitual liar there was no stopping him
i think what happened offered at least a little bit of resolution
that breakdown he had was so f***ing real, i've been in that same exact s*** i loved how sandler got that

Interesting way to look at it
Him winning the bet felt like a dopamine rush from a d*** high and him getting shot so quickly felt like a buzzkill. Again, totally plausible and a very shocking moment and one that I can’t wait to see again to truly see how it feels knowing it’s coming.

1. I don’t know how
2. Anyone coming in a movie thread after it’s release is stupid af. I avoided this thread the day the screener leaked.
anyone else get the feeling that they just saw a classic movie that will be talked about years and years from now?
This movie was f***ing intense holy s***.
Howie was a role literally designed for Adam Sandler.
also, Julia

Need next Safdie movie TONIGHT

While we all rightfully praise the script I’d like to know how much of these scenes were improvised it feels so organic in the performance
Also, OneOhTrixPointNever did the f***ing score omg
After watching this, I had a lot of opinions about it. Including that the score was f***ing amazing
