this still sounds surreal and still cannot grasp this actually happened

It feels strange that this mans death just passes through the media cycle like nothing. I cant seem to exactly put it into words but its just a weird feeling seeing drake and 21 make jokes on fake howard stern interviews merely days after the tragedy.

dont get me wrong, i get it, its business. they dropping an album so they've already planned out the promo but something about how we experience news and tragedy doesnt rly give us time to grieve and process when we constantly move on to the next new thing. we get desensitized to these stories and dont rly grasp the full implications of whats happening. i just hope we dont lose our empathy in the name of spectacle smh.
