dont get me wrong, i get it, its business. they dropping an album so they've already planned out the promo but something about how we experience news and tragedy doesnt rly give us time to grieve and process when we constantly move on to the next new thing. we get desensitized to these stories and dont rly grasp the full implications of whats happening. i just hope we dont lose our empathy in the name of spectacle smh.

I've been thinking/feeling the same. Altthough it was a good distraction, the whole thing just doesn't feel right. I think it was fairly obvious that the rollout was supposed to be one "fake" roullout clip a day, but this disrupted it and delayed it only 48 HOURS. they both addressed it on IG and then crammed everything in on Wednesday.
The fact that two days is enough for everyone to get over something this tragic is eerie. It really did feel like this hit everyone hard, but like you said, everyone's too desensitized now, so here we are 5 days later and it's already lived it's full media life. Unfortunately, no one with power and a following gives a f*** now, they got their clicks off of it and now it's time to move on. It's just sad.

I don't think anyone's in the wrong for how they grieve, i was only shedding light on the fact that these corporations and personalities got their impressions and will now move to the next topic, which shouldn't be the case. This is so much bigger than music.

i think we're on the same page, just semantics. it's the sad reality of these tragedies - i think @GODFLOW was focusing on the desensitization of the world, not the music. as i was too, the world has to (and will) continue, i'm just hoping there's some positive change on the horizon
