HBO max shows are done. Discovery is reality/unscripted and Warner has all the scripted stuff including HBO. They’re just combining those two and burning HBO max original content

Eventually this mentality is going to make its way to regular HBO. The shows that exist now will probably be fine but once those start to phase out on their own, they're most likely only going to pick up/greenlight things they think will attract a wide audience.
