Nobody should explain why that's not a logical comparison if you understand how game development has changed since then and how that affects marketingWhile I don't like it in the industry at large and think a lot of developers go OD with it, I don't think Rockstar announced VI too early and should've waited until a year before release. Imagine we got those leaks in Sept 2022 and Rockstar just didn't say anything about the game until late 2025

Its so bad that all my core memories of this game are getting griefed. Even by my own friends who somehow got 10 billion $ because they have terrible security on their game. even the structure of the game in general is bad esp in free roam the only redeemable part is custom games and heists
