    Rockstar had to push back the Max Payne remake just so they dont have to go against the goat

    Max Payne remake is something i’m fiending for as well. This era of Remedy is as interesting to me as Fromsoft was from Bloodborne til Elden Ring

    Like truly generational era

    Man Remedy has been working on it so long that I was almost positive it would be out before Control Resonant or GTA VI

    They dropped the ball not getting it out around March/April

    Gonna be GOATed regardless tho

    per Remedy's investors report 2025 it was slated to release before Resonant. I think Rockstar intervened at some point since they're publishing the remakes and Remedy decided to fast track Resonant

    A producer at Remedy was asked recently about the remakes and basically said "Ask Rockstar"

    Its really only them and Rockstar left that haven't made a bad game. I mean they outlasted f***ing Bungie

    Only reason I would put them behind Rockstar in terms of a banger streak would be FBC: Firebreak

    Fromsoft still up there, they will crush it with their next mainline single player game too and the multiplayer experimentation was not necessarily my cup of tea but i did enjoy it for a while

    fun shooter saddled with a middling linear corridor campaign. absolute slog to replay tbh

    I was considering playing it again because I didn't love it the first time and wanted to see if I'd warmed up to it. Think I'll just leave it alone lmao

    It’s always been ai upscaling but the face filters is a different uncanny level

    Yes and no

    The Bungie we know and love were winding down regardless with Reach

    Destiny was fun and had its highs but they proceeded to shoot themselves in the foot time after time pre and post Microsoft

    Although an argument could be made that a lot of the OGs had left. But the same could be said of Rockstar or Remedy
