Control only really came alive to me in the Ashtray Maze. That was cool. Alan Wake 1 story is probably cool. I'll never know because of those godawful controls. Alan Wake II looks interesting though. If I get a console I'll buy it.

First alan wake blows, i got through it on easy mode to just get hip to the story and chars

Alan Wake 2 is literally Twin Peaks: The Return in videogame form and TP TR is literally my fav cinematic work ever made so i loved tf out of AW2 and it fully turned me Remedy stan

Of course i love Control as well, it scratches a certain itch. The House of Leaves building inspo, the brutalism etc but Alan Wake 2 is just a whole other level of mind blowing
