Yeah I mean they raise the bar every release and the games are only getting even better as the technology improves. Don't get me wrong there will be some folks who's expectations are just super super unrealistic because of the hype, but I think for the most part they will exceed most people's expectations.

Personally I want to see how the mission design has improved and how the relationship dynamic between the two main characters is fleshed out both in-game and in the story

That’s all I’m saying . Some people going a bit crazy which I get as someone who was crazy hyped for V lol

    No.

I agree on this. IV's world and atmosphere and characters are way better. And Niko is a better protagonist than anyone in 5. Plus the physics engine. V had a (minor)jump in graphics and map size and maybe a few other things but that's about it. IV is peak, along with San Andreas

    exactly

I know rockstar didn't promise a trailer I get it, before someone comes on their high horse nigga I don't care lol. Thought for sure we were getting one with this preorder s***.

I just wanna see some more footage of the game itself. Was cool to finally have an update of some sort though with the new screens. Those were just cosmetic related though. I wanna see more of the world, the gangs, interiors etc.

Trailer will come anytime within a week or so is my guess

    Marketing campaign starts now

Idk man after RDR 2, I think they may take the story a bit more serious and come up with something great. I don't expect it to be as serious as RDR it's GTA, but quality wise it'll be baffling if they go backwards after what RDR 2 did.

Hopefully this is the culmination of everything they have learned from San Andreas all the way to RDR 2

If you don’t mind being a***ly f***ed by overloaded servers, sure.

I’m preordering this a couple days before so I can preload and be ready for a midnight GTA action bonanza.

Same, I’m gonna pre-order on like November 10th so I can pre-load that Friday.

Although I’m expecting the servers to be f***ed on that Friday regardless lol.

My biggest issue with V is that it never hit the same for me as GTA IV. IV had a much more serious tone, a better story, and way better driving physics. The cars actually had weight, and the city felt more grounded. I’ll admit the missions in GTA IV could be repetitive, but the overall vibe, writing, and atmosphere were stronger.

V looked amazing for its time, especially the draw distance on PS3 and Xbox 360. But the game itself felt too plastic and arcadey to me. The driving was way too light, the story wasn’t as engaging, and the whole tone felt less serious and less immersive compared to IV.

I think the story here will have some goofy stuff.

s*** like this worries me though, looks like some disney channel s***

Hopefully, but seen as none of the writing team for RDR2 is working on GTA VI, I'll safely expect the worst

i feel like social media, news, and content in general feels like more of a bombastic pariah in 2026 v 2013 not giving R* any excuses though. IDK if the same ppl are around who wrote RDR2 but itll def be interesting to see how they tow the line when it comes tone.

I def agree when it comes to the story and feel of 5 vs 4 tho

Lol y'all keep mentioning the people who left. How do y'all know the people who have replaced them aren't just as good. They didn't get those roles by mistake I'm sure. Rockstar probably the hardest game company to get into, especially in a role that has to do with writing

That anniversary Xbox would have sold like crack if they made it a mid gen refresh
