Emery Atreidesanyone who says TLJ put JJ in a corner writing TROS lacks creative writing abilities, there was plenty of different avenues to go forward and instead of actually getting creative this man JJ looked up fan theories and tried to put his own spin on them
Exactly this is such a terrible complaint because TLJ set's up a bunch of stuff in this movie. rey and kylo force connection, Rey going to the dark, Ben getting redeemed, Luke lifting his X-wing from TLJ, Hux betraying Kylo. JJ decided to make this EU novel tho
