Wait a minute did finn ever tell rey what he’s been wanting to say or did I miss that??

he never did.
JJ supposedly answered this tho by saying that’s Finn wanted to tell Rey he was force sensitive.
I don’t believe him for a second tho

I don’t believe him for a second tho
I mean JJ definitely dropped numerous, not so subtle hints that Finn is FS throughout the movie.
Still tho, I think it's bullshit that that's what he wanted to tell Rey. If I honestly had to bet, JJ didn't even come up with the answer until after the film dropped.

I do because I guessed it ITT before he revealed it, it makes sense to me: we only get to see Finn fully embraces his force sensitivity AFTER that scene
It’s funny to imagine how it would’ve gone if he did reveal it tho
“REY THERES SOMETHING I HAVE TO TELL YOU”
“WHAT”
“AAHSHGHFIEHFHF IM F....IM FORCE SENSITIVE”
“OKAY COOL”
everyone dies

Yeah that’s what i meant
I believe he had a different purpose for that initially
The force sensitive answer is just what he came up with

My fan fic is basically just to scrap TROS and leave it where it’s at.
I have to

It’s so dumb how so many things in this trilogy have to be explained with visual dictionaries, comics, eu, and cartoons lmao
TLJ might be the only one of the 3 that doesn’t need a bunch of explaining

doesn't make any sense for Finn to tell Rey that before they're about to die or to keep a secret from anybody. Abrams is a lame.
yo someone literally spent 5 hours “critiquing” TLJ.
How embarrassing
Crine.
So y'all just gone pretend this trilogy doesn't exist from here on out huh
Nope because we still got introduced to the best Star Wars character

it's a duology, the third one doesn't exist
The one undeniable thing that does work about tlj is the luke/rey/kylo dynamic
Another thing that has been proven about the sw saga is that it needs a charismatic main character to ground the audience in the crazy world of sw. Therefore it's no coincidence that every (for the most part) universally liked sw film has Harrison Ford as a main character in it.
Literally every single sw film except for the ones with Harrison in a main role is divisive. One thing they all have in common is a lack of a charismatic main character that the audience adores.

I don’t think it’s as necessary as one would think but it certainly makes it easier
