so the last time my co-worker and i chatted about TLJ extensively he was talking s*** on the movie and getting aggressive with me about it
Saying he can’t take me seriously if i think it’s a good film Ever since TROS tho he been switching up and warming up to TLJ.
I think in time more people will warm up to the movie and realize how great it is.

Loved that scene because it was beautiful, clever, and the biggest middle finger to neckbeards young and old. They thought they would see the ultimate fight where their hero Luke would beat Kylo's ass who was super unpopular back then. Now those same neckbeards act like they have always liked Kylo...

And then all of Disney chickened tf out and made Rey a Palpatine and throwing in a lot of forgettable fan service instead of going with the amazing concept that there can be great Jedis outside of the Skywalker and Palpatine lineage. Rian gave Disney such a great setup to build on and they fumbled the bag.
The entire Canto Bight sequence was useless because JJ didn't build on the boy, Temiri Blagg, who is a parallel to young Anakin Skywalker. The fact that neckbeards didn't get it...

The BvS ultimate edition a good example of a movie being better with the extended edition

now that we're done with the Skywalker saga, hopefully we'll be able to start to see the franchise do some new and interesting stuff, but who knows, it could just as easily go the other way at this point
