I feel for virgil and my thoughts and prayers are with his family as an individual i'm sure he was amazing but tbh dude was just a proponent of luxury and materialism.

Though i commend his creativity it still doesn't takeaway from the fact that materialism is a subset of capitalism and ultimately not beneficial towards the greater good

$500+ basic cotton white tees and sneakers made in china in sweat shops selling for thousands of dollars

There's a lot of problems with Virgil whether it be the donation controversy, the pop smoke album cover or the instances of him stealing from other designers without credit but there's a time and place to bring those up. Lmao what? I appreciate you have good intent but there will be a time and place to go at a man who is no longer with us because he may have designed a bad album cover?

If that's up there with the biggest problems people have with Virgil then I think it shows how really no one should have anything negative to say about the guy.

He was a good guy who accomplished so much and broke down barriers. Only way he deserves to be remembered. And tbh there might be some edgelords in here and other places but it will be exactly how he's remembered.
