Thank god she isn’t releasing music anymore. Her music videos would put my NoFap streaks in peril
China calls themselves communist, but the reality of socialism and communism is that they will just turn into organized political parties stealing money from the public to institute a stricter rule and control over them.
Every system will turn capitalist because it is human nature to be selfish. The only question is if you want the government to f*** you or the corporations. And I'd rather it be the corporations since they don't make the rules.
"The corporations don't make the rules"
"elections must not be allowed to change economic policies" Wolfgang Schäuble, quoted by yanis varoufakis

That's all,
Thank god she isn’t releasing music anymore. Her music videos would put my NoFap streaks in peril
It is human nature to want more
Capitalism is the only system that acknowledges that
Human nature... Well if I'm not mistaken, humans can edify themselves... namely trough education
Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all. |Aristotle|
Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
|Nelson Mandela|
Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.
|Malcolm X|
So is Twitter offended she’s decided to fully embrace capitalism or is that not the narrative yet
People always complaining about capitalism as if anything better is out there
Well if people never complained nothing would get done.
people had to "complain" relentlessly about slavery in order for it to become generally viewed as inhumane (you would be surprised to see how many people -capitalists, liberalists, slave owners, thinkers and writers- argued that the wealth accumulated justified those practices)
so yeah, I don't mind "complaints" rooted in disapproval of human right infringements/animal abuse as long as the system ignores them, however far they may occur from our civilized (and privileged) bubble.
Physical product with bigger profit margins
vs
Thankless job as an artist
HMM THATS A TOUGH ONE

nothing in the real world getting resolved on ktt
"We do not currently engage in audits of our suppliers in this respect."
This is something they write on their site for PR to look nice, in reality they probably don't know what type of practices their manufacturers are enacting. Sad truth.
LVMH does this too, there are documentaries about the the negligence of immigrant workers for haute couture factory suppliers IN ITALY( since people live in the delusion that it only affects 3rd world countries who "allow") :they get underpaid and beaten if they dare to speak out, no job security nor security on the job (the injuries from working on machines are not covered)
But people want us to forget and not "complain" about these businesses because a celeb they like partnered with them.
