anyone know any good resources on the history of the israel palestine conflict? i think i understand the basics and it’s full f*** israel but i wanna be able to articulate my opinions better to people who still think this is like a two-sided issue

the land ownership issue is done really. Israel already took it and palestine dont have the forces to reclaim it- so that wont change.

its more about the way the forces operate than anything else

i can easily solve the crisis
west bank should be administered by jordan, and the Palestinians in that area should have their Jordanian citizenship restored like how it was before the 6 day war
the gaza strip should be annexed by egypt, it's the fastest and logical way to help an area landlocked like that
hamas should be labeled a terrorist organization and outlawed and disbanded
un comission should be set up to look into israel war crimes, netanyahu should be locked up in prison and never hold a position of authority
homes taken by illegal evictions should be returned as well as new dwellings in the golan heights demolished
Jerusalem should remain with israel but eastern portion of the city be given to palestinian national authority to be governed

Yeah, I know, just as it has been done throughout history. And there are always vehement supporters who excuse atrocities by coming up with bullshit reasons for entitlement. The entitlement is the problem. Until humanity can move past entitlement, the world will remain the way it is, primitive as s*** and full of atrocities.
