Just think these type of games aren’t for me lmao. So bored of doing the same areas and these mini tougher enemies before the main boss. By the time I get to the main boss my health is already semi f***ed up. Just wanna speed run my way to fight the boss.
How far along are you?

This guy f***ing sucks
Trying to beat the 2nd boss
S***s pissing me off smh
In the second biome. Activate the sand thing right away. Then do both sides. Get all the artifacts you can. They should be level 3 artifacts and very good. Then fight the boss. By then you will be OP

Thank you
Kill yourself
Oh wow
Thank you
Yeah at least try to get through the second boss. Once you beat him you unlock modifiers and that pretty much lets you adjust the difficulty. Haven’t die yet since using them tbh
Returnal you HAD to lol. This one you can apparently skip old biomes completely. Reviewers say replaying them just makes you stronger for the new ones
is this not also the case for returnal? you can teleport to the biome you just died at without fighting anything or the biome boss again
just have to get to the portal which is relatively easy
but if you re-do biomes you get all the loot from it so you're stronger
Copped. Downloading now. Will play later tonight unless I get too high and scared.
$70 is nuts. I can see why sony called returnal a success in terms of profitability. They're overcharging the s*** out players
I'll get on sale or when it's added to ps game catalog

crimson desert is $70 on steam, pokopia is $70 on switch 2, forza on Xbox is $70, if you’re playing anything on any platform you’re paying the same as saros and returnal
Didn’t get to play much today
If I could get to the second boss with both my lives I know I can beat it
Keep dying at like 1/4 of the health bar 3rd phase

I agree even though I haven’t purchased any of those games (all mid)
But like this game is a solid 20-40 hours. I paid $25 for STS2 that’s gonna hold me down with 100+ hours easy.
I think games in general are way overpriced to begin with tho so not a knock on housemarque specifically. I feel like backlogs are becoming big enough that just waiting for sales makes sense
Last full priced game I bought what KCD2 which is massive and rich and well worth price of admission. Everything else just sale season

I don’t get people who always correlate price with how long a game is. Would rather play 20 hours of quality vs 100+ hours of filler slop
Slay the spire you get everything you can get out of it in the first 10 hours. You keep playing cause you enjoy it.
Oh that was the third biome boss? Didn’t expect it there
Beat it first try
literally a sliver of health on second life
I loved Returnal and cant wait to play this maaan. Got this coming in the mail as a birthday gift.
Kinda bummed that people say its easier but I figured they would want to open it up to the general pop a little more.

it has to do with feeling like you got your moneys worth
case in point is returnal. I just started playing a few days ago. I rolled credits on that game after 10 hours. Did I enjoy myself? sure, I played another few hours to finish act 3.
But if I paid $70 for it and I was pretty much done after 13 hours I would've felt like I should've bought something else instead. luckily it's a PS game catalog game at this point.
these days there are enough games out that you aren't choosing between 20 hours of quality vs 100 hours of slop. you're choosing between 20 hours of quality vs 100 hours of quality. makes sense to be picky with what you buy
Finally started playing. Arjun second brown boy to get it poppin
Also is this just returnal but orange instead of blue lmao

i mean. you can play the game multiple times. Most ppl don't do that. but you can.
just looking at HowLongToBeat. Pragmata is 11.5 on average. But full completion is 23Hours.
But then after beating it, you unlock hard mode. Which is another 11-23Hours.

I think you have to beat game again to get every thing
