Gonna have to replay it but everything about this from the gameplay to the story was so damn good. First time I’ve been legit scared by an RE game since 7, and we get the satisfying action on top of it

That section fighting the umbrella guards makes me want a tactical third person shooter from Capcom, with just human enemies. Felt really good to play against them

Just finished. Feels like time will not be kind to the story, game itself is great, but man what even happened.

Depends on how they pull off RE10 I guess, this could’ve been the story for a DLC before that or something

Nah the callbacks were tasteful and not over done, honestly I would’ve like more.

Really just feels like a stepping stone for the next game. Gives you slightly more info on the connections, teases chris (for whatever reason, like we haven’t already played as him twice lol), gives some more Spencer lore but it’s just generally sequel bait .

I’ve only done the release elpis ending, so maybe the other one is better. But I didn't take much away from the story at all. Need to do another playthrough but right now it’s bottom 3 story wise compared to 7&8. Can’t say enough good things about the gameplay though.

Didn’t think Gideon was a super interesting villain but the voice actor did an amazing job. Can’t even remember the other guys name
