Do you like first person view? Start with 7. That's what I did. It's more straight up horror than action.

Resident Evil 2 is a blend of horror survival and action.

Resident Evil 4 is action first with horror elements like creepy creature design. Plus it's the longest I think, if that matters to you. I believe this is the one that made Leon the franchise mascot.

Yo do not start with 7, the game did not age well and it might guarantee you never touch the rest of the series again. I agree with starting at 2 or 4.

Grace's sections > all of 7 or Village.

okay yeah raccoon city section is pretty long, def made up for how short the leon sections have been prior to that wish there was more enemy variety though
