4 og is my favorite game of all time and 4 remake might be my 2nd favorite game of all time i still play it multiple times a week

been playing these games since december and its been a blast. so far i got 0, 6-8, CV (currently playing this one, and revelations 2 left

OG 4 / 4 remake, 5, 2 remake, and 1 remake are my favs so far

yeah 1 remake doesnt need it at all, but I think they'll go for it just since it's the last "Iconic" RE Game that doesn't exist in the 3rd person remake style.

Would love for CV since that game actually kinda sucks (I'm salty about that softlock with tyrant)

feel like a 1 remake again would be so pointless since the 2002 one is already so good and is easily accessible.

i have no doubt that itd be good but i really hate that they have to appease the people that were either too lazy to play the originals / the 2002 remake or started with the remakes / 7 & 8 and have no clue who wesker is

need 5 remake next to see sheva and battlesuit jill on the RE Engine

I think they'd do it more just because a lot of younger players who got hooked with the 3rd person style of gameplay don't love the tank controls.

It's weird to say, but for a lot of people that control scheme just feels archaic

i mean the hd remaster does give modern controls for that game so you dont have deal with tank controls at all but i know what you mean

i thought those controls would stop me from enjoying the ogs but i got used to them fairly quick. i just wish people were more willing to give them a chance

Well I won't mind that... But we really don't know much about RE 9 so I hope it won't take a long time before it's out and that it's good which is good enough to me

I still go back and replay RE4 Remake every few months. Capcom snapped so hard with that s***. No cap it’s prob the best remake ever made.

Some of the coolest combat mechanics ever crafted imo. S*** is so raw, snappy, responsive, satisfying and addictive

And I probably would say the same about OG RE4 too but they just pushed it to another height in the remake

Re1 & re4 remakes are interchangeable for #1 spot and silent hill 2 remake is my number 2 tbh. I’d put re2 remake as 3 and dead space as 4

I really can’t believe capcom managed to make 4 remake just as fun as og mercs as wesker is mindless fun in remake and both campaigns are super fun to bust a chapter out to kill some time. 4 ogs camp, gameplay and atmosphere are unbeatable but 4 remake ups the gameplay by 100 and it’s visually beautiful. Og wesker, Salazar and saddler s*** on remakes characterization but if you skip the cutscenes there’s really no reason to play og over remake imo. Such a fluid and fun game
