But yall can’t ignore that the content on Relapse is still hard for the average person to listen to.

Outside of the unnecessary accents, he’s rapping and flowing great and the production is sounding great but it’s literally whole songs dedicated to serial killing lol.

He’s rapped about s*** like that before of course but he takes it to whole notha level on Relapse.

As great as it sounds, some of the content is a turn off for a lot of people lol.

Yea I’ve always said that this was the last true Em album.
    Everything after this just felt…off

  • This was the last time Em didn’t give af about critics or public perception. Just like his older albums, on Relapse you can tell he was just making the music he wanted to make, and he wasn’t letting outside opinions effect his creative process

But after this album…you could just tell that Em paid too much attention to opinions and critiques.

Also his flows and rapping voice changed for the worst after this album

  • This album is terrible

People will watch scary movies about serial killers and rapists but its weird for them to listen to it in music form lol

He had to change. Too many mfs was starting to get sensitive. The world can’t handle 2001 version of Eminem

Def have a closer bond with Relapse than an album like the Eminem show that I never really got in 2 outside some singles

People praise MMLP and SSLP but those albums have way worse things on there

On Relapse he’s obviously joking…accents…outlandish scenarios that can never happen etc

But on MMLP/SSLP, the s*** he’s talking about seems a little too realistic for my liking

Recovery is way better than Relapse. Not in terms of his rapping but atleast the message was cohesive, it had radio songs, he still had somewhat of an edge and there was diversity of topics

beats are fire but the accents and content make this one of those albums you never want to pick up. Some of the refill songs are nice tho

Including skits it's 20 songs, how many can you realistically say you are going back and listening too? Maybe 5?
