CLASSIC. I used to f*** with Jowell y Randy a lot back in the day. I stopped after El Momento
Same but they're coming with some heat any day now. New album called "Viva El Perreo" is supposed to drop one of the first two weeks of July
snippets sound great, I'm looking forward to it

Low key got back into this genre because of Safarea
Been trying to get back into reggaeton. But I’ve realized most of the beats are kinda whack compared to regular rap. I feel artist pop more for how there voice sounds and the delivery.
I'm not a huge fan of new reggaeton other than Bunny and some Ozu but some of the beats in the last few albums, especially the two Bunny albums, are pretty dope tbh Tainy is a monster producer. One of the best itw, any genre imo.
That said old school beats, flows, hooks etc>>>>

lol so did they! lol they had an album called "Viva La Music" coming out but then Safaera came out and and they changed their plans and took the best "perreo" songs from that album and are releasing only the perreo songs on this new album thats supposed to drop soon.
Safaera changed everything tbh "Te Bote" started the comeback and Safaera was the nail in the coffin for latin trap. Reggaeton is back in the forefront.
Been feeling these lately
Si Veo A Tu Mama is my SOTY
AOTD:
Ivy Queen-Diva(2003)
-Hits: Quiero Bailar, Tuya Soy, Guillaera, Papi Te Quiero & more
-Features: Gran Omar, Mexicano 777, Japanese, Bimbo, K-7
-Showing some love to the ladies today. The Queen of reggaeton, "La Diva". I posted one of the singles a few pages back. This album is dope.
AOTD:
MVP2: The Grand Slam(2005)
-Featured hits from: Hector "El Father", Don Omar, Khriz Y Angel, Divino, Zion & Lennox, Yaviah & more
-Compilation album sequel to the legendary "MVP" album. Most of the same artist who featured on that one return for this one. Biggest hit was probably "Calor" from Hector, though "Simple Bandolero" and others were hits too.
AOTD:
DJ Joe: Fatal Fantasy 3(2002)
-Hits from: Tego Calderon, Trebol Clan, Ranking Stone, Dalmata, Plan B, Nicky Jam, El Negrito & more
-Compilation project by producer "DJ Joe". Top 10, maybe even top 5 in the genres history. Producer of the great "Pa Que Retozen" by Tego. This is his 3rd sequel in this album series and the most popular. Bunch of hits.
Genre news:
-Bad Bunny was hospitalized and got emergency surgery performed on him for appendicitis.
-Ozuna denies sub dissing Anuel on the "Correr Los Lakers" remix.
Genre news:
-Jowell & Randy album seems to either have been cancelled or delayed as Jowell is getting bombarded with fans asking where the album is on his IG and all he answers with are crying emojis
-Ozuna's new album comes out at the end of the month. Its called "El Negrito De Ojos Claros" and it signifies a return to his "Odisea"/"Aura" roots. He's even got the dreads back. First single "Caramelo" is out now and is a hit.
-Wisin is dropping a new album, think its a compilation project, called "Los Legendarios" soon as well
AOTD:
Don Omar Presents: Los Bandoleros: Reloaded(2006)
-Hits from: Don Omar, Wisin & Yandel, Vico C, Mario VI, Franco El Gorila, Cosculluela & more
-A double disc sequel to the highly successful "Los Bandoleros" album. Has a few amazing songs sprinkled throughout like the huge hit "Myspace" with W&Y, "Bandolero" by Coscu and I always loved "Dios Te Libre" by TNT as an awesome hip hop song.
AOTD:
Yaga & Mackie-Clase Aparte(2004)
-Hits: La Batidora, Acechandote, No Quisiera Dejarte & more
-Features: Don Omar, Zion & Lennox, Ramses, Benzino, Voltio, Getto y Gastam, Escalona, Ranking Stone, Supremo
-Second studio album for this duo. Album wasn't as big a hit as their debut but it had one of their biggest songs: La Batidora. Now a days people attribute that song 100% to Don Omar because he sang the hook and used to perform it at his concerts but its a Yaga y Mackie song. Bad Bunny references that song on "Pa Romperla" from his latest album.
AOTD:
Daddy Yankee-El Cartel: The Big Boss(2007)
-Hits: Jefe, En Sus Marcas Listo Fuera, Cambio, Fuera De Control, Impacto, Ella Me Levanto, Mensaje De Estado, Soy Lo Que Soy
-Features: Akon, Nicole Scherzinger, Hector El Father, Will.I.Am, Fergie
-This was the follow up album to the legendary "Barrio Fino". Came 3 years later and was a more commercial/crossover album with pop songs like Impacto becoming big in the US. Not as good as BF but the songs that hit--hit.
