That album is so good, I don't know where to begin. Didn't win the category Grammy though. Never forget.
But funnily, Miguel won best song that same year for Adorn.

KINHe needed an instant classic post leg drop. Not because the leg drop is what hurt his career it’s the fact i don’t remember what dropped after it and that’s the problem.

Gimmicks are a part of the music industry and I think it’s disingenuous to act like the only people who use them are those who are lacking in music. Also I kind of fail to see how Frank moving how he moves qualifies as “playing a character” or even a gimmick, if anything it puts the focus on the music

It is if it is clear that he didn't spend time crafting those songs lmao. Adele gets a pass for putting out classics but mans really put out some local soundcloud tracks

That was Miguel’s biggest mistake by not pushing that as the lead single. At that point of his career he was still known enough to have another hit in him. It was perfect for that summer smh

That’s subjective tho, you cant decide how long or hard someone worked on something. The vast majority feel like the 4 years it took to make blonde and endless were warranted and worth the wait
