And has never made a bad song.
You know what, i can actually agree with that
Not all his songs HIT but i cant think of a single song that i would class as BAD
Everybody makes mistakes.
Absolutely lol I don’t consciously hold it against him, it was just such a crazy moment that it kind of sticks with my perception of him
That album is so good, I don't know where to begin. Didn't win the category Grammy though. Never forget.
But funnily, Miguel won best song that same year for Adorn.
Whew, their chemistry on that album is off the charts
I stopped caring about Grammys long time ago lol
He needed an instant classic post leg drop. Not because the leg drop is what hurt his career it’s the fact i don’t remember what dropped after it and that’s the problem.
He's had Platinum and Gold records since.

Hiatus then

Didn't really change anything for me bc it was out of character, he was on d**** and made a stupid decision. Lead to him becoming more humble and relatable at the end.
I can see how it could make him more relatable
Hiatus then
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Z55sZ2oVY4That gunplay line is still one of the hardest ever
HER and Chris Brown both highkey came out with gimmicks. Chris was “he’s so young!” And HER got a big media push to say “HER play gatar”. Gimmicks are a part of the music industry and I think it’s disingenuous to act like the only people who use them are those who are lacking in music. Also I kind of fail to see how Frank moving how he moves qualifies as “playing a character” or even a gimmick, if anything it puts the focus on the music
Being young is an intentional gimmick? Was he supposed to wait till he was older to show his talent?
Frank's whole release strategy and sound is a gimmick. DHL and In My Room are evidence of that. Mid to below-mid songs that his fans ate up because they were the first songs in like 5 years. I loved him around Channel Orange but he's clearly becoming a poster boy for r/mysterious music critics.

If you could make an R&B supergroup similar to TGT in 2020, who are you drawing for?

So because you think they’re mid it’s a gimmick? And it was only his first songs in like 2 years. Waiting to release stuff is a gimmick?

It is if it is clear that he didn't spend time crafting those songs lmao. Adele gets a pass for putting out classics but mans really put out some local soundcloud tracks

Miguel
BJ
Luke James
Ro James
I feel like the world turned on him when he randy savaged that girl at the Grammys. But we f*** with Miguel.

You know one of those has to go... Think of the chemistry.
If Harry Styles or Bruno Mars did "waves" it would be #1
That was Miguel’s biggest mistake by not pushing that as the lead single. At that point of his career he was still known enough to have another hit in him. It was perfect for that summer smh
I don’t know who idea it was to release two versions of Coffee at the same time

That’s subjective tho, you cant decide how long or hard someone worked on something. The vast majority feel like the 4 years it took to make blonde and endless were warranted and worth the wait
One of the hardest R&B collabs in recent memory
I listen to this everyday and it never gets old.
he definitely has a classic album
i think he just been low and it’s been an R&B renaissance in the meantime. and his last album had some great songs imo but it wasn’t great all the way through. he just has to come with another album
I feel like the world turned on him when he randy savaged that girl at the Grammys. But we f*** with Miguel.
Billboards*
He's saving his finisher for the Grammys. Give him a chance.
Nothing. He’s a great singer and KD is an amazing album but he hasn’t matched that again or even came close
