You can easily make the argument that a project like Mixtape Pluto is just commercially un-friendly like any conscious lyrical album, just for different reasons

Dot is like PAC Nas and Ye rolled in one generational talent and hit maker

Cole like a Nas seed with a lil splash of Hov’s commercial savvy Dot just resonates with a way larger audience again I would never argue Cole over Dot

The fact that Cole and Future are even as close as they are commercially while Cole is 10x the lyricist Future is and way more risky subject matter wise is telling though

He’s currently the 6th most streamed rapper this year and Cole is 10th ok

One nigga is a staple in the clubs radios parties and the streets the other nigga is a conscious lyricist that makes traditional hip-hop in a landscape that has completely moved past that sound commercially

Young Thug and Migos are huge artists who blew up alongside Future by then Cole, Drake and Dot were well established in the mainstream

I haven’t said anything wrong bruh lmao. Future blew up in 2012 and Migos in 2013. By 2014 they were very even when Honest and No Label 2 dropped. Fight Night one of the biggest songs in trap and ever in 2014 lol and that’s before Handsome and Wealthy comes on as the B side
