Woodlands wealthy as hell and moving like that
in some spots only but ya
tbf they do be having probably the best running trails I've seen
Can’t disagree anymore, but I’m an introvert who gets in serious moods of not wanting to be engulfed in social situations continuously because life gives me enough of it already so I would legitimately hate getting up every morning having to commute with a bunch of random people while I’m moody af.
This is the same reason I hated taking the bus to school as a kid and thankfully only had to do it for one year.
Being able to control my own experience and the time I leave etc etc otw to work/school is very important for how my day goes.
only if you don’t have a car
Indubitably. I dream of a world with a fantastic built public transportation network.
Keep dreaming, sucker.
Yeah. Unfortunately where I live pub transportation is terrible and the city was not designed with pedestrians in mind
Nah I don’t want to share a vehicle with dirty mfs. It makes sense to use public transportation in NYC though
Tbh. Save so much money on pub transit / bikes.
Cars are expensive as hell dawg
Bike > Pub Transit > Car > Feet

Which looks more appealing
yo wtf I went to the city in the first pic a month ago
Public transportation is vastly superior unless you live in bumfuck nowhere. The USA having bad transit doesn't mean public transportation is bad per se.
Go to Tokyo, Moscow, Berlin, Amsterdam, Shanghai and see real transit for yourself. You don't even need to own a car. But this is only possible with smart and dense city planning
I don't own a car because I can reach anywhere with urban train, tramway, subway and busses. If I really need a car I will just rent one, but ir's been very rare. I have everything I need in walking distance anyway.
I live in the city with the best public transportation in the world and no thanks.
I'd rather drive. Haven't used the subway in years and haven't used the bus in even longer. Never again.
Which city? Sounds like cap.
Literally no unless you live in Japan
Japan isn't the only country with good transportation. Dozens of countries have them by now including poorer ones. The US is an outlier. Even South American countries are better
Also the girl argument
You guys really need to stop thinking every place in the world is the USA
Which city? Sounds like cap.
NYC. The only 24/7 system in the world and one of the few that goes by flat fare instead of by distance
Meaning you get from anywhere in the city to anywhere in the city for the same price every time
I’ve been to some of the cities you mentioned in your other post and I’d still take NYC’s subway over theirs. Cleaner doesn’t instantly mean better

Boy you done lost your mind if you think NYC has the best transit in the world.
Maybe in the 1960s
0 and it's not the only 24/7 system either
mans said nyc has the best public transport in the world
Discuss.
I almost got killed at Rosa parks transfer station in Jacksonville Florida just catching the wrong bus from the west side to downtown at sundown, by the time I got to Rosa parks station it was dark outside and I got stalked off the bus and had to run back to the Salvation Army, same dudes were there a week later so I had to move
In other words no, i don’t ride the bus anymore

Lol
quickly became one of my favorite youtube channels in the past few months.
this man not only hates american urban development with a passion but also pulls out mad receipts every time he goes in
the tube in london is f***ing lit. since london doesn't have much driving space with narrow streets, most people (even really rich ones) just prefer to use the underground, which gives the government solid incentive to actually maintain it, unlike many other public transport networks that go to utter s*** because of neglect.
it is also extensive as f***. it covers damn near every relevant point in london and also reaches out way beyond the city, really allowing people to realistically commute in to work and not be limited by distance.
it's also super efficient and barely ever late, again because it is the primary mode of transport for most of london. the whole city would shut down if the tube shut down
the only time i had a major delay for the trains was when someone literally jumped in front of one and they had to reset the line
