Damn I didn’t expect a reply this real. You wondering is completely valid, Black people literally wrote the blueprint on how to stand up for yourselves and led the charge for civil rights with being compensated the least. ADOS should 100% be compensated and given reparations, especially considering we have billionaires with untaxed money sitting in their accounts that will never even see the day of light.
Americans and most people in general are just pretty dumb and clueless about history or its context so even trying to bring that up to them will results with “REEEEEEEE” so I understand your frustration bro.
As far as the relationship between Black and Asian people in this country there is obviously a lot of tension that comes from miscommunication and misunderstanding. Like I feel like Black and Asian people both feel like the other group doesn’t like eachother, and while that may be true for a lot of people I think there is still great potential for mutual understanding and building together
Im kind of just spouting out idealisms but after having these kind of discussions with many people online and even in an academic setting I truly feel like we all need to try harder to understand eachother and eachothers pain and struggle
The more we dismiss eachothers pain the more we dig a hole

Through chattel slavery ownership went through property and we were not considered human while not preserving any information about lineage. But we were kept as record so somebody has ledgers upon ledgers about "cargo" and someone damn well insured that

Where the disconnect comes in is most Asians interact with Black people with status and it's confusing because Black people operate off of Matriarchal values in a Patriarchal society and mass amounts of propaganda, mixed in with first or second hand experiences
Some people think I be trolling on here I block them and move on, but I'll always have a good conversation in good faith

And dude so many people think Asian cultures are super patriarchal but I think they’d be surprised at how matriarchal they can actually be
I’ve always been close to my mom, my dad was kind absent a lot so I guess my upbringing was a bit matriarchal and as strange as it sounds it’s something I’ve been able to relate to with other people in the same situation
