The true heart of this country is tradition and I'm sure that appeals to Asians, as well as their native countries having an established relationship with the US. Most races affect by the colonization of the West at one point have settled and received compensation, except American descendants of slaves.

A huge part of dealing with the US is regret. I personally don't recognize a lot of Asian hate because I'm not Asian, and the only ones who I would see in my community were behind huge bullet proof glasses, and never shopped or ingratiated themselves in the neighborhood. So when I personally see things like free Palestine or stop Asian hate, I immediately wonder why my community isn't served with that kind of press or legislation

You wondering is completely valid, Black people literally wrote the blueprint on how to stand up for yourselves and led the charge for civil rights with being compensated the least. As far as the relationship between Black and Asian people in this country there is obviously a lot of tension that comes from miscommunication and misunderstanding. Like I feel like Black and Asian people both feel like the other group doesn’t like eachother, and while that may be true for a lot of people I think there is still great potential for mutual understanding and building together

Im kind of just spouting out idealisms but after having these kind of discussions with many people online and even in an academic setting I truly feel like we all need to try harder to understand eachother and eachothers pain and struggle
