Why is hating a ps5 pro some people’s personality

A few reasons

1)being a cynical d***head is actually a fairly common personality type especially when we talking about online personalities

2)people have been hating on games with realistic graphics for a while now and PS5 Pro is basically designed to run those kinds of games so all of those people are using PS5 Pro as an opportunity to b**** about everything THEY think is wrong with modern gaming as a whole

3)a lot of them don’t really even understand what they are getting with the ps5 pro because they have no actual experience with high end 4k displays/tvs capable of running high frame rates and displaying accurate colors, deep blacks, and excellent contrast so to save face from their ignorance they s*** on it

There's no reason to upgrade your base Ps5.
The only reason to get the 5 pro is if you still have a ps4 or switch from Xbox/Nintendo. If you got cash to throw around sure. But it's not wrong to call out how goofy the concept is. Just wait for the Ps6 to launch.

Settings same as X but higher resolution and higher FPS is essentially what a $200 GPU upgrade should be getting you. Personally, being able to get graphics mode at 60fps is enough for me.
