No, try reading again. My point is that the ps5 gen being weak is good for consumers, gens don’t matter as much anymore, because the technological leaps are getting smaller. It ultimately means nothing other than that people don’t feel their ps5 purchase is special, which is meaningless. It’s better for people who have ps4 because they don’t need to upgrade, each gen lasts longer for consumers, so you can spend less and not have to worry about missing out on much. I know you’re f***ing incapable of a complex conversation so just reply by memeing on me and we’ll call it a day.

Most of the games on ps5 are on dated engines you stupid f***

Combine that with people like yourself wanting the shiniest new toy does not help consumers . Nor does not caring about backwards compatibility or a disc drive . All these moves are anti consumer

Adding a few new gimmicks to a controller that with an adapter a ps4 controller can easily work

If most games including those upscaled are on unreal engine 4 which released 2014 and we still using it there is a max limit a game can look or upgrade

Honestly, we’re just in a weird era for video games where the media has gotten too big and there’s a war between the graphics race and just plain fun gameplay.

There’s a certain point where games won’t look any better. Let’s focus on them running at high frame rates and truly fun gameplay

There’s a reason Astrobot is a “Nintendo Mario game” with a modest budget and is the most celebrated game of 2024. Astrobot is focusing on gameplay and FUN. No movie cutscenes or micro transactions or always online, just single player FUN

I didn’t buy a regular ps5 because it has no games i was waiting for assassin’s creed

So im gonna get the pro (huge AC nerd and Japan nerd here)

One question I have is why people bought ps5 in the first place ? We’re experiencing the first few games that aren’t playable on a ps4 pro

Not everything have to intersect I’m not a fan of current AC for the gameplay but for literally everything else

Meaning the settings, the modern world storyline, the difficulty, the achievements, and depending on the gen, either the choices or the gameplay tbh.

Odyssey was awesome because I felt free in a story way, Ezio trilogy was awesome because I felt free in a Parkour way

RPG ones gotta be Odyssey but still play Origins before, it’s short and amazing

Non RPG ones I think the entire Ezio Trilogy. Be Sure to play AC:3 after the trilogy tbh not the greatest game but it ties in a lot of story arcs

I was mostly just poking fun but this is a good response tbh, I thought odyssey was a bloated mess but there’s also good things about it like the setting and definitely the modern world storyline. Layla Hassan was a great character.
