TNA made a lot of boneheaded decisions during that period. Like a lot lmao. Even then, I don’t think they would FR pass up on Brock
Kurt a GOAT, but the nigga was just saying Strowman and HHH could have multiple 5 star matches so idk how much I trust his word rn
Correct me if I’m wrong BUT wasn’t Brock UFC’s biggest draw from 07-09?!?!
Yes Brock had some of the most buys till about Rousey/McGregor. He practically saved UFC 200

I could believe it if there was any reports behind it. It seems like something that big being kept under the rug doesn’t make sense. I know years back when Jericho used TNA as leverage by giving them rights to a fozzy song. They were also hyping up a mystery opponent that listed Lesnar, Jericho, and others if I’m not mistaken.
It also could be very true based on Angle v Lesnar in IGF or that Angles CTE is talking

bruv, they let Hogan bring in the f***in' Nasty Boys and actually pushed them over the decent tag teams they had. Them passing up on Brock is fully possible. Also some of that Main Event Mafia s*** was not good at all so TNA making bone head decisions isn't out of the realm of possibility

Aye… I’m not denying that it’s possible considering all of that lmao. I’m just saying they were giving money to ANYONE during that period so it just seems wild not to give brock whatever he wants + some

Them mfs brought back Vince Russo 3 different times lmao
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot
Mind you… I lowkey was not watching wrestling during this period lmaooo. I took a break for some years cuz I kinda grew out of it or so I thought. I’m aware of what was going on tho so I’m glad I wasn’t watching

UFC draw yes, WWE draw in his first run? Not at all. There’s a reason why they built him up as the face of the company but then pivoted and turned him back heel a few months later in 03.

Lmao same I was out from 05-11 Seen Punk’s pipe bomb on Worldstar and slowly started watching again
WM19 did a lower buyrate than the 03’ Rumble. Nobody gave a s*** about Brock during his first run

No one gave a s*** about Steve Austin’s or The Rock’s first run either lol

There’s an arena that WWE tried to run back in the day that neither Hogan in the 80s or Brock in the 2000s couldn’t draw in Cali. They haven’t went back since and AEW was able to get a pretty good sized crowd for it or the ticket sales were great. I can’t remember which it was but I know it’s in Cali. Meltzer was tweeting about it few months ago.
Edit:
I was able to find it. Pretty interesting.

Very true lol. I don’t see how that refutes my point
