WWE has its first hot storyline in years with this Bloodline stuff. How much longer can they keep this going and stretching it out until fans start giving up. Vince created a disaster with the Midcard and it showed during the Rumble.

AEW had MJF/Punk which we all had an idea would be pretty good granted how both present and carry themselves in the wrestling bubble.

I just don’t see anything hitting the same with MJF and whoever he faces next. The lack of believable stars that throw any sense of WHAT IF has gone out the window due to TK shelving people when they get white hot.

I honestly think Eddie Kingston could get people invested on that Punk/MJF level.

I think Kingston should be a stop gap in Max’s reign, have Max make Eddie feel like he’s a waste of oxygen, let the people get riled up behind Eddie, have him win the title on a New York show and then have Max cheat to win the title back a month later.

Eddie doesn’t need a long reign to be made by that and it would keep people invested in seeing Max get his comeuppance.

Starks - just started getting on tv again. Not enough credible wins. Not believable.

Kingston - kept off tv for whatever reason and the suspension.

Wardlow - tied up with WarJoe stupidity. Also was on the shelf for a few months.

Omega - just returned. Tied in the trios.

Danielson - kept with younger stars.

Claudio - tied in with ROH title. Isn’t a strong character.

    Hangman - injured.

    Cole - injured.

PAC - not believable enough for me to believe he has a chance beating MJF.

Darby - hot mid card act not enough big wins to make me believe he has a chance in beating MJF.

I like all the guys listed. Just not strong enough for the believability factor. Omega yes, but throwing that together now would be stupid. All of the guys need some big wins and look really strong.

I’d make him a babyface at this point.

They’ve done all they can with Undisputed heel Cole.

  • I wanna say there's a lot of Punk fanfiction going around here, but the dude be holding grudges like a mf

  • Nov 22, 2022

Just strong characters is what is needed for me. Just think AEW is missing a lot of those outside the top stars from other promotions. It takes time.

  • Nov 22, 2022

We’re in this spot with Reigns because they never cared to create strong characters.

Starks would make himself believable with his promos leading up to the match and would make himself credible with a strong performance in the match.

Eddie could heat himself up with one promo.

Wardlow has the built in history with Max and has already squashed him. Would be a chase everyone would believe in.

Omega’s not always gonna be doing trios in the next 12 months and Omega/MJF is a legit never before seen PPV main event level match.

Danielson’s still had multiple world title matches despite his current outlook and would slot in easy for a feud with Max.

Claudio ain’t gonna be tied with that title for much longer considering how long he’s been in that scene. Will probably be moving on to Joe and the TNT title soon. Isn’t a strong character but gets over with his ring work, would be credible enough for a special tv event like BnG or Grand Slam

Doubt Hangman’s gonna be concussed all year and always had good chemistry with Max.

Cole’s probably gonna be back soon if he isn’t actually gonna be retired off it. Has always gotten strong ratings and is over enough to be a top babyface.

PAC would def be believable enough with some beatdowns on Max prior. Company’s made it a point to prioritise him in their programming whenever they’ve had him so wouldn’t be too surprising if they went with him taking the title.

Darby’s another guy who could heat up easily due to how exciting he is in the ring. All it would take is one promo from Sting telling Darby it’s time to step it up and take the championship from the man who cheated to beat him with a side headlock at Full Gear 2021.

All these guys could be ready to go with one month of on tv rehab and strong matches/promos.

If they can make these guys looking good and walking out better than they came in, I am all for it. Just hard to believe with TKs incompetence as a booker this year.

But the way WWF was presented was the title could change hands any min.

That's what made it fresh and unpredictable. Vince decided to go back to his Hulk Hogan days w/ Cena once that merch started flowing in.

Been a tough year with all the hurdles to overcome.

Biggest issue is he books s*** way in advance and then sticks with them even tho they’re unavailable to the company’s detriment.

    Jade’s a big example.

He’s gonna hold up the TBS title scene for ages until Statlander is healthy again.

I’m all for long title reigns if you can have the suspense of the title holder dropping the title. While Reigns has had some solid segments, all of his matches have been rinse and repeat. Nobody looks good walking out as a loser during his title reign.

I can’t think of anyone that walked out in a better position. This isn’t on him at all. It’s the creative side of WWE not giving a s***. Nobody got any momentum afterwards.

This idiot acting like Roman’s reign didn’t die a death after Summerslam 2021 and that the only thing that’s been propping it up since then is Sami Zayn’s great improv work.

The only people that left looking better and got momentum afterwards were The Usos.

    Owens didn’t do s*** after.
Drew was singing songs with Tyson Fury after the biggest match of his career. He was stuck down in a feud with Qarrion Qross.
Big E didn’t stand a chance last year as champion. They had no plan for him at all but just to create a moment.

Again, I am not talking about his whole career I am talking about this crazy title run since he returned.

I am not discrediting Reigns as a performer at all. He’s really good and gets too much hate.

Which is so crazy cuz I could’ve sworn they was gonna go in an Austin direction with Cena when he was blowing up.

Remember the “Ruck Fules” Merch? lol

It’s the same thing with Kevin Owens. He left WM against SCSA and was placed in a stupid f***ing comedy feud with Elias. Thank god HHH is around now and hopefully he can actually give the guy a push he actually deserves.

Riddle, KO, Jey Uso, Drew Seth, all came out better after feuding with Roman.

Highly doubt KO gets the Austin match without that feud

Drew was in mid card hell until he got build up for the Roman March and stil gets the loudest pops even after the Kross feud

Seth is on a different level than those guys and has been a made man since 2015. Seth was also getting dodged from a lot of big wins till recently.

Drew? He’s not touching the main event for a while and hardly any follow up since that singing disaster.

    Riddle got over with Orton.

KO is lucky that HHH is in charge now.

Literally the only one who came out of that group looking better was Jay.

Hell, KO got made to look like a f***ing chump when Heyman couldn’t uncuff Roman during the LMS standing match and when the ref just stopped counting at 8 Kevin just stood there like a lost boy at the shopping mall.

The Roman propaganda is wild at this point.

He's money. Ever since he came out against Cena (I wasn't a big NXT watcher) I knew instantly this guy was legit.
