Again doing all of this because some random stranger in the primetime thread said something about a movie you like. Superhero fans be so insecure in what they like. If a stranger says they thought The Batman was terrible nothing is forcing you to go at them and throw a tempter tantrum who cares what that nigga thinks of The Batman you have it on bluray you enjoy it. Not everyone will feel the way you do about anything in reality.

The few good cops trope is textbook copaganda because it's meant to make you A) be empathetic towards the "good cops" and B) believe that the main issue with the police force is bad cops ruining it for the good ones

My view is that what constitutes copaganda has more to do with certain tropes being on display than the amount to which those tropes contribute to the story. That's why I said I incorrectly worded my original post, because you're right, police procedurals ARE copaganda while The Batman only contains it in a small amount

But it's the same for any propaganda. If I make a post to you with 5 sentences attacking your point and 1 attacking a made up version of your point, my post still contains a straw man even if it's not the central focus
