The Weeknd will finally live up to his king of the fall name, when he falls off harder than that one time when rick Ross fell off stage after this new album flops critically and commercially
Chixtape 6 will be even better than Chixtape 5 and will cover classics from 2008 to 2010 and will certify Tory as the new king of r&b
Nav will drop the biggest album to date and more brown rappers will emerge in the industry! Bollywood music and hip-hop will be the new wave
R kelly will either off himself or come out and drop album of the decade
Taylor swift will drop her final classic album in 2022 and then venture into acting
Justin Bieber will continue to decline and drop a s***tape in 2021 with some random ig thot and ruin his marriage and career
SAINt JHN will rise to stardom in 2020
How is this all so specific
I saw a post from 2009 where someone predicted where certain artists will be throughout the decade
Will Drake still be on top?
Will Kendrick still be putting out classics?
Will Kanye keep putting out gospel albums?
No to all
Kendrick gonna go the way of Eminem
In my unbiased opinion:
Drake will be on top until about 2023
Kendrick will lose relevancy around 2025 due to not dropping enough music, he will still be regarded as a legend though.
Cole will lose musical relevancy around 2021, but will remain an icon in music and most likely start some sort of podcast or interview YouTube / Video channel.
SoundCloud/memehead rappers (already irrelevant pretty much) will be completely forgotten about.
Twitter specifically and other older social media platforms lose impact on bandwagon opinions (Twitter is actually dying and losing members every month), but new era social media platforms like TikTok will eventually be used to create decent music of all genres and Generation Z artists will use it to promote their music.
As the whole 2010s decade ages, the music will age very poorly except for the staple albums that defined the era.
NBA Youngboy becomes a top 5 superstar, along with Travis, and maybe Post Malone (even though he's not really a rapper).
Street rap (as it's already getting bigger again) will add more styles to it and become even bigger until about 2022 when it becomes oversaturated.
A new type of rap where the artists are more humble and don't partake in braggadocios type lyrics or turn up s*** will become the front runner due to relatable music. The style will become a complete turn around of what we have right now.
Lots more diversity in the mainstream becomes popular again as well.

223s will go extinct thus the rise of the 7.62s
Line will include but not limited to
“762s hitting you and your boo”
“762 knock him out of his shoes”
“762s going do do do do”
You get the point.
Look at how pop songs are made its literally all the same sounds, chords, drums
They have a formula for what's catchy
I don't see how you can't just randomly generate different melodies and drum patterns
art can be made a product just look at the movie industry
pop is the same thing as blockbuster movies like Avengers
but both as genres are rooted in genuine human emotion
Military rap takes over in 2028 in the midst of the largest world war of all time
AI rappers are gonna become a thing
Songs will be made by computers and there will no longer be bad music. Every song is gonna have perfect writing, beats, melodies, and mixing.
At some point you will have the option to customize your own songs and albums. You choose the vibe you want.
Music as we know it is like horses before there was cars and planes, they're the stepping stone to a bigger concept that is currently unimaginable with our current technology
No lol
just came using my time machine so I can tell you exactly what's gonna happen
NBA YoungBoy will be forgotten by 2021, he keeps releasing projects but no one cares
Kanye will make another Gospel album in 2020, it will be panned, Kanye will start acting even crazier then before making Kim divorce him in 2021, Kanye will turn Wyoming into a Hawaii Part 2 but with more strippers and hoes and ditch the whole christianity thing, he will release MBDTF PART 2 in 2023 - but mixed with a more extreme Yeezus sound and that will be the best album of the decade, then he and Kim get back together and in 2024 he becomes president of the US and stops releasing music all together focusing on creating jobs and a better world
Bobby Schmurda will be released in 2020, in 2021 he releases a classic, in 2022 he's back in jail until the end of 2030
Kendrick releases two good projects but not nearly as relevant as his past one's, he's still seen as a goat but his fanbase is much smaller now, in 2026 he releases an album with
J Cole, releases his album in 2020 and becomes bigger than Drake, in 2023 he falls off again, the 2026 album with kendrick give both a little bit of buzz but its not enough
Lil Nas X marries Ilovemakonnen, forming the most irrelevant gay couple of the decade
also Rocky admits he's gay and he's been having a secret relationship with Tyler for years, Rocky then cheats on Tyler, and Tyler makes his version of Lemonade, then Rocky responds with his version of 4:44, they finally release WangSap aka Everything is Love
The Clipse officially come back in 2022 release 3 albums all classics, one produced by Kanye, other by Pharrell and a Third one by Timbaland
Drake releases 2 more mediocre albums than retires and marries Billie Eilish living of her success now, they keep the custody of Adonis and he becomes mayor of Toronto
Beyonce divorces Jay Z and makes 2 more albums about that, she runs for president in 2028 against Kanye but loses
Jay Z joins Kanye in Wyoming in 2022 and he makes his own rendition of 808's and Heartbreak, he then announces bankruptcy but Kanye helps him get back up
Lil Wayne dies of a stroke in 2025 while finishing the Carter 6 the album is then finalized by close friends and producers in 2027 and is considered a classic
Travis Scott will release 4 albums everyone of them selling less than the others, he will be irrelevant by 2025
a new generation of rappers will appear, two of them will have major success and will be seen like the Kanye and Drake of their generation the rest will be forgotten
frank ocean releases another great project than disappears
birdman is arrested for pedophilia

I didn't say all of it was
I didn't say all of it was
it's one of the saddest moments of the whole decade, but if helped people look for the things birdman did to him in the past and come forward and ultimately that was what got him in jail
Kendrick gonna go the way of Eminem
