AI rappers are gonna become a thing

Songs will be made by computers and there will no longer be bad music. Every song is gonna have perfect writing, beats, melodies, and mixing.

At some point you will have the option to customize your own songs and albums. You choose the vibe you want.

Music as we know it is like horses before there was cars and planes, they're the stepping stone to a bigger concept that is currently unimaginable with our current technology

nah man, music is art and that is about human expression

sure an AI generated painting would be cool but does it really have the same artistic value as a humanly made painting? it isn't expression, it's just an algorithm designed to give you pleasure instead of something honest and real

AI music or film or fashion or whatever will never be as good as the real deal no matter how much it tries to cater to what we want because at the end of the day its inorganice, its manufactured, there's zero emotion or honesty in it

sure when some AI reaches the ability to express emotion in the same degree a human does (and not simply be as smart as a human but as conscious and emotionally receptive) it'll be cool but no yet

bronze is cool but thats because at the end of the day, the backbone is made by human writing and instrumentation

    Crack Palm Stepper

    Why u say that?

I mean I could be totally wrong but judging from ‘DAMN.’, I think Kendrick can go two ways.

He can totally go Pop Rap like GOD. and LOYALTY. Baby Keem is already a big influence on the TDE guys (CrasH Talk/Rashad snippets) and look who that has affected the quality of their input. I honestly don’t think it would sound that good. Look how people think of Kendrick’s features.

Kendrick can also totally recoil his sound back to a progressing of the TPAB/UU sound but the thing about that is I feel like Kendrick has already said everything he needs to. TPAB was a needed record for that point in time. I’m just not too sure how that would sound now.

Hopefully I’m prove wrong, but it seems like Kendrick is stuck in between a rock and a hard place.

Drake supposedly wanted to retire from rap at 35. He's 33 now. I wonder if his addiction to being number 1 will make him go back on his word tbh

    Album number 6
And the bar in NWTS about where you will be a decade from now
    It’s all lining up

Current “AI” methods are machine-learning driven, which for music/art means training on a human created database. I think that it will allow for easier creation of music in certain styles that you train on, and manipulation of those styles in ways not previously possible. This will allow for new possibilities (especially on the vocal side) and easier exploration of the set of possibilities. But at the end of the day art will always have a human component. Because art is defined by what humans value.

Look at how pop songs are made its literally all the same sounds, chords, drums

They have a formula for what's catchy

I don't see how you can't just randomly generate different melodies and drum patterns

This is kinda already happening, I remember I saw a spotify ad for a song from that popular cgi instagram model (forgot her name) didn't bother to click it but it looks like its what the music industry is trying to push for the future.

Imagine all the stupid Americans that are gonna start obsessing over these AI artists and stanning them

The Weeknd will finally live up to his king of the fall name, when he falls off harder than that one time when rick Ross fell off stage after this new album flops critically and commercially

Chixtape 6 will be even better than Chixtape 5 and will cover classics from 2008 to 2010 and will certify Tory as the new king of r&b

Nav will drop the biggest album to date and more brown rappers will emerge in the industry! Bollywood music and hip-hop will be the new wave

R kelly will either off himself or come out and drop album of the decade

Taylor swift will drop her final classic album in 2022 and then venture into acting

Justin Bieber will continue to decline and drop a s***tape in 2021 with some random ig thot and ruin his marriage and career

SAINt JHN will rise to stardom in 2020
