i think this is a valid criticism of the idea: a small state between 2 powers has immense leverage and equally immense pressures, ukraine lies at a strategic location. economic and political interests will remain

the reason a narcissist dumps you is so that they can dump their trauma unto you and make you feel empty and miserable like them, they seem to believe that, that's their only chance of getting rid of their own feelings of self loathing and emptiness

i had a secure attachment style but her mixed signals and lapses into silent treatment would definitely make me anxious. she was the epitome of a dismissive avoidant however, anger was her core emotion to things that bothered her and dissent would be met by silent treatment. i have my own toxic traits and immaturity but i'd be willing to apologise where i thought my perspective would also be taken into account

in the end i left her because i saw the situation as irreparable though, which perhaps shows she might have bit off more than she could chew

the reason a narcissist does all this merging is to get the codependent totally hooked and dependent on them so that once they break up, the fall off is much steeper than without all this love-bombing... effectively giving the narcissist a way bigger imprint on the "victim's" mind... therefore giving him more satisfaction and a greater sense of euphoria and feeling alive
