one thing i'm learning is that once your narcissistic ex dumps you, or either you dump him/her... you enter a state in which your mind is still controlled by the narcissist ex-partner... it's literally like they've colonized your mind

and this voice of theirs is so incessant in your head that it overrides your own voice of reason... and it's very good at hiding as a voice of reason itself...

another thing is that when people are infected like this (same as with racism/nazism) there is no single individual thinking anymore but entire groups of people literally think like one individual, a collective mind that has one singular thought and belief system, and it's very unnatural to the individual and toxic and needs to be fully purged and cleansed before the person can feel like themselves again
