i do still favour financial and military aid to the ukrainian government, while respecting the risks inherent to it- ukraine is not afghanistan, but it's valid to point out the azov issue
my preferred option would be arm heavily on condition it doesnt get to azov, but i dont see this as likely

i agree with you 99% of the time but he isnt wrong
it's reasonable to not want azov to gain weaponry and power
what i do disagree with them on is that it's highly unlikely to result in an afghanistan style situation where azov take the role of taliban parallels
ukraine has stronger civil society, institutions, and democratically assented government afghanistan didnt have
the context is still extemely different
