whats to say this will change anything? democratic elections are extremely manipulatable. when the people with power can control media and physical space, democracy doesn't mean people will get whats best for them

my point isn't that democracy is the wrong system, it's probably the best kind of governance humanity has invented so far. my point is just that it still has TONS of flaws and they are worth criticizing. you can criticize a democratic state for the results it's democratic system has produced without calling it not a democracy
