probably general escalation from Russia from the missile strikes and given Russia & China both rebuked (ambigiously but still) the missile strikes on Kiev, they're likely renewing calls thinking they have both additional leverage, both diplomatically and in terms of fears of further escalation. also given Ukraine has re-captured much territory on their end, there's probably an element of frustration where the goal is getting murky, especially with Zelensky basically refusing to specify victory conditions other than regime change in Russia
