Yeah cause of the war basically. Just to show support in a way. But initiating the process means it can still take years. With the corruption rate of Ukraine and now the war, it won't be possible in the next 10 years at least. Serbia started that process years ago and still isn't part of the EU. There are strict requirements to be a member. Same for NATO
