You know what type of people in the Duma lol? He's a lil boy compared to them. It's that bad. And then i'm talking bout their views and actual actions. I wonder if the Russian people are still invested in politics, knowing they're led by a bunch of criminals

On Navalny himself: It's sad to say, but a lot reformers end up corrupted anyway. If he ever came to power in the past, I could've seen him become a 2nd Putin with his ultranationalist views. The difference is he mightve been a bit less corrupted AT FIRST lol. It would make no difference for the Russians tbh

  • Damn Putin's palace is more lit than Sultan of Brunei's Sinbad s***

Indoctrination goes deep, Bush approval rating shot up too with Iraq and Afghanistan, I wouldn't call them all warmongers in either case, just misinformed

I know. But his approval rating was also high before this war that they don't call a war in Russia. And Russia been active in a lot of conflicts these last years. At the same time, it's also difficult to use any approval ratings in a dictatorship tho

In a crisis I won't change my stance on the sitting government so this is seen from a very self centered perspective tho. And it's not that a lot of Russians aint informed at all. To me it seems they either are very positive bout Putin or they fear saying they're not for obv reasons

It isn't even hard to believe that Russians would support this "special military operation" even before the invasion.

Putin has sold this war on de-nazification and demilitarization of a country that has oppressed an entire ethnically Russian population where over 14,000 people have been killed and 1.5 million forced to flee their homes in the last 8 years.

The media in Russia has been reporting on what's happening in Ukraine for ages. And probably even over exaggerating the type of threat Ukraine is to Russia's existence. Most Russians probably view the invasion as a liberation mission of its brothers and sisters and a just cause. And you can thank Putin's higher approval ratings after the invasion to the sanctions and isolation put on Russia from the West. It doesn't seem to be causing internal conflict, but more solidarity as a country.

This. I watch them every morning and if you’re just aware of certain biases you’re getting a much more enriching and informative experience than watching CNN or some bullshit

I'm not saying i put more faith in them, i'm just not very keen on state run media. Especially if that's the only source available for people

Like in China, where there is no freedom of press and mad censorship
