Ukraine is in denial of their abandonment, that’s what’s causing them pain. They thought the NATO flirting over the years was serious.
They’re literally just getting dropped care packages when they thought they’d get the avengers.

Same people in here calling NATO p**** for not aggravating the issue will be the first ones on here screaming bloody murder if they did and officially plunged all of Europe into a war zone and had everyone in a major population center of 1 million or more around the world be within 25 minutes of a nuclear bomb.
NATO and the West are doing exactly what they should be doing right now, which is kill the Russian economy, arm the Ukrainians enough to where they drag out the war long enough that Russia eats itself.
Putin’s already getting ready to install marshal law because of the protests and civil disobedience and just passed laws against supporting sanctions or Ukraine in any way.
It’s all working and idiots on here are desperate to escalate things to the point that Putin has no way to save face other then to hit the red button. If this pace keeps up, he’ll need to find a way to stop the economic and social bleeding this war has brought about and will negotiate terms.

The people from Ukraine wanting NATO to militarily defend them don’t realize that would mean the end of the world.
Or maybe they do, but just don’t care.
Ukraine isn’t as geopolitically as important as Afghanistan, and look how that went. What did they expect? Because they’re European, they’d be saved? Because they’re blonde haired & blue eyed?

Continuously asking for help has gotten them international support both humanitarian and weapon and people from abroad have signed up to join their foreign legion to fight for them. At the very least, by continuously asking for NFZ, etc., they are relaying the message that what they have now is not sufficient and countries are continuously finding other ways to help them in response.
