kendrick is also very connected to the bayarea as well, been there early af and helping the literal communities and doing rap battles along with majjor love to e40 and keak (kendrick is the first LA nigga the bayarea f***s with him since the late 90s early 2000s, and kendrick always has given an olive branch on and off the tracks - the only one from LA) - so bayarea was literally a free agent that could have been swayed to team drake or team kendrick, but drake his own dumbass self chose for us
