oh trust me if you've never watched sopranos you have to, and if you have, you should watch again after knowing that. sopranos has the best non-dialogue writing I've ever seen with madmen obviously being the 2nd since Weiner worked on both (sopranos is just such a better overall talent pool with winter imperioli and then even Buscemi adding to the writing and directing with episodes like pine barrens. im tryna write myself so I pay attention and study people I admire). Weiner f***ing was going OFF in the 2000s lol

Is Amalfi close to Positano? Amalfi coast like number one on my list then Positano Venice and Florence 100%
It’s like a 20 minute ferry from amalfi to positano
Id advise staying in atrani which is a 10 minute walk from amalfi to avoid crowds.

Apr 22·1 replyMattmurdockyeah man seriously, after watching madmen I realized why a lot of my fav sopranos episodes are either EP'd or written by Weiner and terrance winter ofc only made everything so much better. sopranos truly had the best cast and production crew EVER and I will take Weiner's writing over Chase's any day of the week (especially after many saints of Newark lmaoo)

Lmaoo it’s the Wild West in PI. I’m back in SoCal now, but spent 3 years in NYC and Brooklyn. Loved it out there. And met my wife there
