When it comes to Drake, he (seemingly) doesn’t drop an album on the same day as three groups of artists. Obviously, I don’t know the guy, but this is the conclusion I’ve drawn after following his career. Those three groups are:

1. Big Fish - Any artist who’s guaranteed 200K+ first week, and a #1 album debut. Think Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift, SZA, Morgan Wallen, Cole, Harry Styles, etc.

2. Industry Friends/Frequent Collaborators - Artists that Drake often works with and/or seemingly has a close relationship with outside of music. Think Travis Scott, Yeat, Sexyy Red, Lil Yachty, 21 Savage, Young Thug, etc.

3. OVO Artists - Anyone currently signed to OVO Sound

Jack doesn’t fit into any one of these groups when it comes to Drake. They worked together one time four years ago and don’t seem to have any relationship outside of that. I could be wrong, but that’s just what it seems like from the outside looking in
