What the hell is he doing man? The Iceman episodes were building so much momentum and now it’s just dead.

    You already know what happened..

hardcore fans would’ve been fine with another Drake album but the version of Iceman he previewed then would’ve more than likely gotten heavily scrutinized if he had released it..

Which is silly because Fighting Irish and some of the other unreleased Iceman rap songs were heavily gassed up. Should’ve dropped an introspective ā€œ1-on-1 conversationā€ rap album reflecting on his life and the beef. The further we get from that moment the stranger it is to harp on it

Feels more likely we get scary hours 4 before an album. And the album comes Q3 or something

Make or break album for the boy. I know ppl often roll their eyes at that statement, but I think It’s truer now. More than ever. This s*** has to be hard

While I think it’s important it’s definitely not make or break album for Drake lol.

Even if it's not the narrative will be that he purposely dropped mid to get back at UMG and is saving the hard s*** for his new deal on some Frank s***

I’m expecting the rollout to pickup after Cole drop, Valentine’s Day weekend specifically.

Some truth to it being a critical moment for him, but it’s definitely not gonna make or break his career lol. And also, do we really think it’s possible for Drake to release a bad album? Every album he releases, there’s something for everybody. He will have hits on there. They will chart. Album will break records. All these things always happen with Drake. It’s not possible for him to ā€˜fail’ in the traditional sense when it comes to releasing albums. I think the bar for him really is just to beat FATD and CLB, if he can release an album better than those two, it will be another peak of his career.

Maybe not make or break for his career, but it definitely needs to be pretty good.
He gave us $$$4U after the beef but I think ppl really wanna hear Drake rap post battle. Ofc it will be successful because it’s Drake, but I do think if it’s mediocre music, I think It will hurt his value in the industry going forward.

I’m anticipating this album heavy (because of the symbolism in the episodes he dropped)
and I haven’t rocked with drake in almost a decade. Most know that he will NEVER have the same momentum he once had on the surface.

Whether he drops a classic or not, they’ll never give him that type of recognition or success again. Even he knows the time is up.

I would prefer if you still didn’t rock with Drake if this is all you have to offer

Quite comfortably the most streamed rapper this year already despite folks swearing his recent output is ā€œmidā€ btw

He is no doubt the king of streaming with Taylor as Queen. Extremely similar careers
