Zero repetition? On SOMETHING ABOUT YOU the hook is literally the same three words over and over again, his verses on DIE TRYING is the same melodic line repeated like 20 times, same with RAINING IN HOUSTON, did you listen to the album?
Also, those beat switches are exactly part of the problem lmao, these aren’t greatly written songs they’re two half songs thrown together

The great thing about Drake's catalog is that those who insist he made better music from 2009-2015 can always go back and listen to those songs over his latest songs. I'm one of those who thinks Drake is a better musician and has made much more interesting and diverse music from 2016 till now than he did from 2006-2015 but everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

The issue is you have to take a few songs from every album instead of being able to listen to concise classic albums, and not personal classics, classic classics
Of course you can pull a few great songs from his albums here and there, he’s one of the greatest ever, but i personally want a classic project from a GOAT artist, not bloated slop with a few hitters
